The iron pact is taken by all daemons who become soulgrinders.

Turns out you really need to have read codex daemons to get this, ah well.

I advise looking at this as well then. Enguard.smackjeeves.com
Its a friends comic, and way better than this one.

Thanks for the reference, Onasuma! I would be the friend in question. It must be acknowledged, though, that CKTM is far better at keeping to an update schedule than En Guard, and I have heard it said that the humour is better over here as well. I can't comment on the second point, because I would surely be biased on that front :P

Now to enter my hyper-critical, overly pedantic, graphically obsessed, nitpicking mode. Sorry for the following...

You're right, you would need knowledge of Codex Daemons to get this comic. Without that, I'm left to talking about the art. The addition of anti-aliasing is a huge improvement, and it seems Inkscape is letting you add more detail, which is good. Without seeing whatever it is that you're drawing, I can't really comment on the accuracy - that, uh, trunk thing looks bizarre but for all I know, it could've been on the Soulgrinder you were drawing.

One thing I would say is that the proportions look a bit off. The body is very tall, the gun-arm is tiny, and the pose is a bit awkward. The background is also rather indistinct. Nonetheless, it is a big improvement on many of your other comics, although the MSPaint had a certain charm :P Colour choices are fine, good to use a sensible level of saturation.

What are the round things on the walls? Daemon-blobs? Some bizarre Chaos thing? The results of the most recent Iron Warriors discus competition? Who knows...

haha that's actually quite funny! I have a friend who collects Daemons, but he has not been playing long so he isn't that good...they have very cool models though. Shame I blew his soulgrinder up on the turn it came in with a hammerhead XD
